Our goal is to educate Comal County residents and organizations on the latest techniques for collecting and storing rainwater, to promote water conservation and environmentally sound methods of landscaping, and to encourage business models encouraging rainwater harvesting.

Feb 22, the RainBee Team will be conducting the official class segments on Rain Harvesting and Efficient Irrigation for the 2023 Comal Master Gardener Class in New Braunfels.
Feb 28, the RainBee Team will be conducting the official class segments on Rain Harvesting and Efficient Irrigation for the 2023 Guadalupe County Master Gardener training class in Seguin.
Mar 20, Larry will be speaking to a Bulverde St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Women’s group on a water topic TBD.
Apr 15, Mystic Shores Home Owners Monthly Gathering. Time TBD. We will demonstrate rain barrel and IBC tote construction. Already have commitments to buy 20 barrels.
Apr 22, Spring Alive Fest at Ace Hardware in Sattler. 10:00-2:00. Rain barrel demonstrations and water conservation information handouts.
Apr 29, Comal County AgriLife Open House. 9:00-1:00
We will demonstrate: 1) importance of water conservation, 2) why rain harvesting is a better long term solution to residential water demands than aquifer wells, 3) rain barrel construction, 4) wicking barrel construction, 5) rain tank selection methodology, 6) efficient irrigation methods.
May 10, a noon Lunch and Learn at the Guadalupe County AgriLife office in Seguin on Rain Harvesting
May 18, a presentation on the Trinity Aquifer’s stress level at Vintage Oaks Community Center.
